The 1982 Sorceress Blu-ray delivers great video and decent audio in this enjoyable Blu-ray release.
To maintain his powers, the evil wizard Julian (Robert Tessier) must sacrifice a virgin every seven years. His latest victim is Laura (Linda Blair), who is kidnapped and taken to his castle. Laura's friends, including Miles (Christopher Atkins) and Harry (Susan Lucci), must find a way to rescue her before it's too late.
The Sorceress Blu-ray includes a new 2K scan of the original film elements, as well as a DTS-HD Master Audio 2.0 soundtrack. The video quality is excellent, with sharp details and vibrant colors. The audio quality is good, but not as impressive as the video quality.
The Sorceress Blu-ray also includes a number of special features, including an audio commentary with director Bruce Beresford, a making-of featurette, and a stills gallery. The special features are a nice addition to the package, and they provide some interesting insights into the making of the film.
